Seasons Defined

Lacrosse in the Pacific Northwest is a spring sport. Our primary season runs from February - May, with the potential of participating in tournaments well into June. We intend to become a part of the Greater Eastside Lacrosse League (GELL). Should this occur, our game schedule will be dictated by the league.

Many teams also offer Fall Ball, September-November. The approach is more of a casual one, with practices and games held only on Sundays. Depending on the success of our inaugural seasons, we may participate in this in the future.

Summer is the off-season. That said, there are many camps available locally where kids can hone their skills.

Teams

We are planning on hosting 4 teams for 2018, provided we have enough kids signed up: K-2, 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8. "3/4" is short for kids in the 3rd and 4th grades, not a fraction of a team! The goal is to have at least 15 players at each level.

Practices and Games

Practices begin for 3/4 & 5/6 in February. They are twice a week for 90 minutes each. Both teams will share a field for practices, and will be held at the same time. Games begin in March, and are typically on Saturday mornings - but occasionally start in the afternoon.

The 7/8 team also begins practices in February, but will occur 3x / week (most likely M/W/F) for 90 minutes each. They will have the entire field on M/W, but will share the field w/ K-2 on Fridays once the K-2 season begins. Games begin in March, and are typically on Saturday mornings - but occasionally start in the afternoon.

The K-2 season goes from March - May. Practices and / or games are once per week (TBD - probably Fridays), and run for an hour.
